Data Storage

All data you enter into Nourish Friends — including friend names, interaction history, notes, health scores, birthdays, and categories — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. None of this data is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.

Contacts Access

The App may request access to your device's contacts to help you add friends. Contact information is only used to populate friend profiles within the app and is never transmitted off your device. You can use the App without granting contacts access by adding friends manually.

Photos Access

The App may request access to your photo library to let you assign profile photos to friends. Selected photos are stored locally within the app's data and are never transmitted off your device.

Data Collection

Nourish Friends does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Specifically:

  • No analytics or crash reporting services.
  • No advertising networks or tracking pixels.
  • No user accounts or authentication.
  • No server-side SDKs.
  • No third-party SDKs that collect data.

Tracking

Nourish Friends does not track you across other apps or websites. The App does not use any advertising identifiers.

UserDefaults

The App uses Apple's UserDefaults utility to store your in-app preferences, such as your chosen appearance mode (light, dark, or system). This data remains on your device.

Third-Party Services

Nourish Friends does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or analytics platforms.

Children's Privacy

Nourish Friends does not knowingly collect any personal information. Since all data remains on device and no data is transmitted, the App is suitable for users of all ages.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by deleting the App from your device. This permanently removes all locally stored information.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.
